I recently wrote a poem in third person talking to myself. Just reflecting on my self worth . Just like anyone else  I lose hope become discouraged and sometimes need some uplifting words. . so i decided to write this..
Self worth

I wish you could see what I see when I look at you. Your beauty paints a picture so vivid and true. Yet you roam this earth with expectations so high with little drive. Only if you knew what I see when I look into your eyes. Your a story waiting to be told . Anxious for your future to unfold . All your goals are like Gold yet you fail to uphold; settling because that's all you know. I wish you could see what i see every night before you sleep . One day closer to all your dreams. Yet you lose hope because the world's so cold. Trying to break the barriers you hold. I wish you could understand what God has planned. The world is in your hands; but nothing comes easy to man. I can see you places where not even your sweetest dreams will do. I can picture it ; a thousand words wouldn't be enough to describe you..  gb
