Throughout my 18 Years Living in this world I am Blessed that I learned so much & experienced some much things so i will not make the same mistakes in the future.
A few weeks ago waiting for The LIRR after work , I ran into an older guy who asked me a Question Many avoid.
The Man asked me " What Do you Know About GOD"
It was the Most random question yet I had no response. I was Absoultely Speechless.
Who is God? The Father of Jesus? The Forgiver Of All Sins?
He began to ask me if I went to church and I told him I cant recall the last time I attended a Church Mass.
He assured me that he was not trying to " Pick me up " and that he was happily married.
I never put anything past anyone so I was not too sure to believe him.
Anticipating my Train to arrive , he asked me one more question.
" Can i have your number so i can invite you to a Mass at my church "
How could someone turn that down? Anything Involving God I sort of felt Obligated.
So I gave him my cell phone number and scurried to catch my train.
After that day i thought about the gentleman and thought to myself , Did he approach everyone he came in contact with or did he see something in me and had to let me know the word of GOD. He called me numerous amounts of times during that week and I chose not to answer. Why? I really have no answer. Was it Sin Holding me back from answering GOD callings ? He gave up trying to call me & texted me a message that truly touched the inner part of my soul. AND IT READ......
PRAISE THE LORD SIS GLORIA, I THOUGHT YOU WERE INTERESTED IN COMING TO CHURCH YOU GAVE ME YOUR NUMBER, I CALLED YOU NUMEROUS TIMES, BUT YOU DID NOT ANSWER. HOPE YOU'LL GIVE GOD GLORY SOON. REMEMBER ITS NOT HIS WILL ANY SHOULD PERISH BUT ALL SHOULD COME TO REPENTANCE. FOR WE ALL HAVE SINNED AND COME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD. AND ALSO EXCEPT A MAN BE BORN OF WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD HE CAN NOT ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD. SO I HOPE YOU COME TO THE LORD SOON, BECAUSE THESE ARE THE LAST DAYS AND THE LORD IS COMING BACK FOR US SOON SO I PRAY YOU'LL BE RIGHT WHEN HE COMES TO GET YOU. NONE OF US KNOWS WHAT THE NEXT MINUTE CAN BRING. IT CAN BRING US DEATH SO I PLEAD WITH YOU COME ON TO JESUS BEFORE ITS TOO LATE. DONT LET SIN DESTORY THE BEAUTY GOD HAS BLESSED YOU WITH. PRAISE GOD AND COME BE PART OF THE GREAT WORK WHICH GOD HAS IN STORE FOR YOU. I WISH I COULD SHARE SOME OF MY TESTIMONIES WITH YOU. BLESS THE LORD AND TAKE CARE
What had touched me most was when he said " Dont let Sin destroy the beauty God has bless you with "
